Lauren Bowers

Murfreesboro Lawyer Lauren Bowers primarily handles cases in criminal defense and family law. Lauren is a Middle Tennessee native and has lived in Murfreesboro since 1999. (https://www.vidaliaonion.org/) After law school, Lauren chose to work here in Rutherford County, which she considers home.

Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Middle Tennessee State University, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and the Band of Blue, and later earned her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee. She focused her legal education in criminal law, including service as President of the Belmont Law School Criminal Law Society, serving as the Criminal Law Research Assistant, and an internship with the Rutherford County District Attorney, which provided unique insight into how prosecutors handle criminal cases.

Outside of work, Lauren loves spending time with her three children, attending football games, and hiking our scenic Tennessee State Parks.
